Let's Talk About Coworking

Who doesn't love a good FAQ (Q=Question and A=Answer)? I get asked a lot of questions about Waunakee Coworks. Let me break them down for you (in case you had the same question/s):

Q: What is "coworking?"

A: Coworking allows professionals (entrepreneurs, side hustles, small businesses, remote first workers, hybrid workers) access to a Class A professional office space without the headaches (and expense) of leasing space on their own and furnishing it. Professionals share the common areas like casual sitting area, a conference room, and kitchen.

Q: What are the benefits of working from a coworking space?

A: There are SO many (and some vary based on membership level). Here are a few:

  • Legitimate business address on Main Street = Exposure.

  • Ability to shut the office door and have uninterrupted work time.

  • Open the office door and visit with other professionals.

  • Professional conference room for client meetings (and the building is ADA accessible).

Q: Does it require a long-term commitment?

A: No! All of our memberships are month to month and we just ask for a 30 day notice for part time memberships and 60 day notice for full time/private office memberships.

Q: When are you Open?

A: Because of the nature of my work (Hoege Consulting & Coaching), I don't have set "open office" hours. With that said, if someone wants a tour, they just need to arrange in advance by emailing me (Jennifer) at WaunakeeCoworks@gmail.com. Our members have a key so they can access 24/7.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: Memberships start at $195/mth for one day a week.

A private office with a dedicated business address/suite number starts at $595/mth.

Q: What is included with the membership?

A:

  • 24/7 access to the building.

  • All utilities including fast 1 gig fiber internet access, premium coffees (Starbucks, Dunkin) and beverages to enjoy while here.

  • Use of a conference room, as needed.

  • Fully furnished space with height adjustable desks and executive Lazyboy chairs.

Q: Why would I pay to work from 'an office' vs. just work from home? (OK, most people don't come right out and ask that, but I know they think it!)

A: I get it. I worked from home, as well. What I can tell you is that I get my work done so much faster when I am focused, without interruptions. Think about it this way, if you are a solopreneur like me, can you create $595 in value each month by being even 1 hour more productive each week. (Yes, the answer should be yes.) Or, what I love is that I can work 6 hours and get done more than if I worked from home for 8+ hours.

What questions can I answer for you?
